About Us
Anthro-Scene is an Anthropology blog, based in Durham, that bridges the gap between academic anthropology and the general public.
Despite its wide-ranging relevance, academic work can be densely written and inaccessible to a wider readership. This site aims to bypass boundaries and present comprehensible, interesting writing that questions what it means to be human, and showcases the unique insight that anthropology can provide.
